What is EFT?
EFT is an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don’t use needles. Instead, we stimulate the meridians by tapping on them with our fingertips. Feng Shui is referred to as acupuncture for your home, except we don’t use needles. Instead we use placement, color, art, etc. – see the connection… it is all about energy!!
EFT is also about energy… emotional energy, in the form of electrical footprints embedded in our body’s subtle energy fields as thoughts, beliefs, fears and perceptions. Often these thoughts, etc. tend towards the limited/disbelief side of things instead of the unlimited/believing side. This creates a disruption in your body’s subtle energy fields and can result in stress, feeling stuck and/or unmotivated.
For example we may set a goal for ourselves, but underlying that goal are many doubts and fears about the possibilities of achieving that goal. Just setting the goal may bring up thoughts like “I can never own my own business”, “There are more qualified people than me” “I can never make that kind of money”, “I’ll never have a partner” and on and on. This is why so many people abandon their goals or don’t set them in the first place.
EFT is a simple technique that neutralizes these limiting thoughts and beliefs. By tapping on certain meridians (energy pathways) on your body while expressing your doubts and fears, they begin to dissolve and are released from your energy system. You can then focus on re-patterning with positive affirmations and choices. EFT is excellent for stress relief, goal setting and ultimately changing your life.

My Experience With EFT
I wanted to share with you one of my first experiences with EFT. For as long as I could remember I have been afraid of heights. Going up in ski lifts, certain hikes that took you to the edge, The Seattle Needle, even driving over some bridges left me so scared I stopped doing some of those things.
I decided my fear of heights would be something to use EFT on. I was in London on a business trip so I decided to use the Millennium Bridge for my tapping session. Walking across this bridge definitely scared me!
While this bridge isn’t really that high, its railing design leaves you feeling like there are no boundaries and that you could fall right into the Thames if you walked too close to the edge.
I proceeded to walk across, tapping the entire time on my fearful thoughts. Some people looked at me like I was nuts, but I was determined. At first, I would almost get to the middle and turn back because I was so scared, but I persevered. Eventually I was walking across to the other side but was still scared. And then the time came when I just walked across it having a nice conversation the entire way.
Soon after that I moved into an apartment on the 16th floor of a building. The first day I saw the apartment I went right out onto the balcony – to the edge – and looked over to the pool. I looked around at the beautiful view and talked with the agent. Before tapping, this would have been something I definitely could not do and now I was just doing it!

What To Expect with EFT Coaching
An EFT coaching session will focus first on teaching you the technique, then working with you on those thoughts and beliefs that keep you from setting and manifesting your goals. EFT is very effective when self-applied and I emphasize using it on your own and educating yourself with all the wonderful resources at www.emofree.com. The first EFT coaching session is done in person, however, subsequent sessions can be done over the telephone.
My focus is on energy alignment in all areas of your life. Your thoughts create your reality and that reality is reflected in your home/space. A perfect example of this is clutter. Clutter is stagnant energy and creates blockages in your life. Dealing with clutter is the first step in Feng Shui, as you cannot bring in new energy unless you clear out the old!!
You may have some tightly held beliefs that created clutter in the first place and are stopping you from dealing with it now. For example, thoughts like you don’t have enough time, its overwhelming, you feel guilty because someone gave you this and that… on and on.
I have created an EFT Clutter protocol to address these types of thoughts, allowing you to release them and begin clearing out your clutter. Aligning the energy of your space with the energy of your goals/intentions allows things to manifest in your life.
